Strategy and Design

We drew the visual direction from the playful, vibrant style of Kate’s debut novel, Gracie Harris is Under Construction. This approach not only echoed the wit and charm of her writing but also resonated with her core audience of millennial women.

Soft textures and custom, summer-inspired illustrations mirrored the lively energy of her book cover, creating a seamless connection between her literary and visual worlds.

We carried the brand into her newly launched Substack newsletter, It’s Been a Week, giving her a cohesive, recognizable look across every reader touchpoint.

“In addition to being a talented designer, Rebecca does one thing exceptionally well: she listens.

Rebecca listened to my goals -- both the smaller, short-term ones and the more audacious, longer-term ones -- and helped to articulate my vision into a brand. I felt heard from the very first conversation, clear through to the finished product!”
