Is Your Growth Strategy Simpler Than You Think?

Inside Blooms by Diem’s brand and website overhaul.

The biggest opportunity in your business might already be working. You just haven’t given it your full attention yet.

That was exactly the case for one of my favorite clients this year.

Diem is an incredibly talented florist. She’s developed a distinct “garden-party” floral style and built a strong reputation in her corner of the Midwest.

But she had bigger goals.

She wanted to increase her income and consistently attract brides who were specifically looking for her signature style.

Here’s exactly how we refined her business, brand, and website around those goals.

Step One: The Growth Plan

My creative process begins with a 90-minute interview where we talk less about fonts and colors and more about your actual business.

I’m often asking questions like:

What does your dream business look like three years from now?

What do you want to be known for?

What’s making you the most money?

During Diem’s interview, one thing became pretty obvious. She was trying to do too much.

Her website featured a bouquet subscription, floral cart, online shop, and wedding florals.

But when we looked at what she enjoyed most, what was most profitable, and what she wanted her future business to look like, all three pointed to the same thing:

Weddings.

So we built her entire strategy to cater to brides.

Step Two: The Brand Bloom

Once we knew how Diem wanted to grow, we could build her brand around it.

Her brand and website needed to attract higher-budget brides who loved her signature garden-party style. So we got to work:

  • We rewrote and redesigned her website to put weddings front and center.

  • We refined her wedding services to help her confidently move toward larger projects and higher budgets.

  • We chose elegant fonts that elevated her positioning.

  • We created whimsical illustrations that made her garden-inspired style instantly recognizable.

  • And we curated her portfolio around the kind of work she wanted more of.

I love Diem’s story because she’s the perfect example of what it means to do less, but better.

She didn’t need another offer, another revenue stream, or another marketing platform to grow.

She needed to identify what was already working and give it more of her attention.

Simple? Yes.

Easy? Not always.

When you’re inside your own business, everything can start to feel equally important. The Growth Plan helps us zoom out, decide what deserves your focus, and then build your brand around it.
